EA has revealed that over eight million copies of Battlefield 3 have been sold across all platforms. The figure comes via a conference call, in which CEO Eric Brown also revealed that the game has shipped twelve million units to stores.
Five million copies of Battlefield 3 were sold during the game's first week. The game's Back to Karkand DLC is scheduled to be released in December.
