Mandy Moore Developing Comedy at ABC

Deadline reports that actress/singer/tall girl Mandy Moore (A Walk to Remember) has landed a put pilot commitment for a new half hour comedy on ABC.

To be written by Wedding Crashers co-writer Bob Fisher, this new show is a single-camera family comedy that will explore the inherent conflict between the families we grow up in and the families we make – as told through the lens of a young, newlywed couple – Annie (Mandy Moore) and Ben.

In other pretty, tall actress news, Judy Greer (Arrested Development, Archer) is currently developing her own half-hour single camera comedy series at ABC as well. So good news for all you Judy Greer fans who've been wanting her to get her own show for a while now. This new comedy pilot is apparently based on Greer's life as a woman who moved from Los Angeles for the man she loves and found herself raising stepchildren and making new friends in a small suburban town.

And now...Mandy Moore's "Candy" for no reason.
