The Hunger Games helmer Gary Ross is getting some help from an Oscar-winning pal who has agreed to direct second unit on the film adaptation.
According to Indiewire, Traffic and Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh will helm a portion of the second unit footage on the Lionsgate release.
Soderbergh is renowned for his speed, and the site says that quickness is just what the tightly scheduled Hunger Games needs.
Soderbergh's involvement was first revealed in some tweets from crew members.
