On Friday, we gave IGN Twitter followers a chance to get their reviews of Your Highness featured on IGN Movies. You did your part over the weekend, now we're holding up our end of the bargain.
The response was about what you'd expect for a film that opened in sixth place, with just $9.3 million. But then we're talking about a target audience that isn't exactly known for being motivated, reliable or punctual. They'll just catch it later on DVD, man.
There were a few noble souls who did accept our challenge, though. You tweeted your reviews as instructed, and gave us some thoughts to ponder. Some of you liked it, some hated it and some were obsessed with the anatomy of mythological creatures. Below you'll find a sampling of some of the tweets we received. With the exception of a couple instances of profanity, we're reposting them exactly as tweeted, all creative spelling and grammar are the authors' own.
Lastly, be sure to follow the members of our crack entertainment editorial team for the latest in movies, TV, DVD/Blu-ray, comics, babes and tech:

And now, on with the tweets!
Our first, and what turned out to be the most concise review:
#IGNReview It sucked ...
Okay, then. No ambiguity there. That might have been the shortest, but it wasn't the last of the negative reviews we saw:
I'm sure I've seen a worse movie than "Your Highness"...I just can't think of one right now. #IGNReview
Ouch. The positive reviews far outnumbered the negative ones, though. These tweets get right to the point, and do it eloquently:
@IGN #IGNReview Stupidly, brilliantly, hilariously fun.
Your Highness was what I expected--if Eastbound and Down was a medieval adventure. Also, good! @cwhitewrite #IGNReview
Your Highness is a hilariously demented stoner comedy that pokes fun at the fantasy genre. A must see for anyone who liked LOTR. #IGNReview
#IGNReview Your Highness made me laugh even when others weren't! Simon the mechanical bird: the greatest best friend ever invented.
And then there were the folks who were somewhere in between:
Your Highness: Rent-worthy, not theater-worthy. Decent laughs, but would have been better will a few brews. #IGNReview
I can see why Your Highness got bad reviews but its still worth seeing if you enjoy dick jokes. #ignreview
stnding on a cliff one foot over ready 2 fall over with hilarity, but the movie never quite pushed me over the edge #IGNReview #yourhighness
Last but not least, there's the subject of mythological anatomy:
@ign a perfect story book tale, action and nudity.Oh vulgarity makes it perfect, laughs galore. Oh [anatomical reference] necklace, 'nuff said #ignreview
@IGN if you like minotaur [anatomical reference] then you will LOVE "Your Higness" #IGNReview
Thanks for playing, Twitterers! If you enjoyed these tweets, give some of these folks a follow. And stay tuned for our next Twitter experiment. We just may try this again with another big title in the future. Hopefully it will be one that people actually go see.
There are a lot of comedies out there. Some are really good,...
