ThunderCats Comic-Con Panel Adds Emmanuelle Chriqui & OG Lion-O!

Hopefully you've already seen Thunder Thursdays, IGN TV's ongoing look at the new ThunderCats animated series, complete with exclusive interviews, images and video. The only thing we didn't know until now was when the show was actually debuting – but now we have the answer.

Friday, July 29th will see the debut of ThunderCats on Cartoon Network, with a special one-hour episode at 8:00pm. After that, the series will air weekly on Fridays on Cartoon Network at 8:30pm, beginning August 5th.

Update: In addition, even more details have been revealed for the ThunderCats panel at Comic-Con. It will be held on Friday, July 22nd at 3:30pm in Room 6a and include an exclusive screening of the hour-long series premiere. The panel afterward will include producers Michael Jelenic, Ethan Spaulding, art director Dan Norton and voice cast members Emmanuelle Chriqui (Cheetara) and original Lion-O, Larry Kenney (Claudus).

On top of that, if you want to watch the classic ThunderCats series, Boomerang will have a marathon on July 16th and 17th, and then begin airing the series every day at 5pm beginning Monday, July 18th.
