One more actor has been added to the cast of Transformers 3. Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey revealed to the Brazilian press that he's been cast in the Michael Bay-directed sequel, which begins filming this month.
Entertainment Weekly reports that "Dempsey will play Megan Fox's boss in a role that is 'significant to the plot.'"
Honestly, we're bummed he's not voicing a Transformer. He could have been a Coupe de Ville. Hey-o! (Check Dempsey's credits if you don't get that joke.)
In related news, Scream's Jamie Kennedy has reportedly auditioned for a role in Transformers 3. However, Kennedy's publicist said, "At this time Jamie is in no way attached to the film."
