Mythic is looking for Loading Screen tips, and they want your ideas and entries!
We'd like to proudly announce that we're opening up an opportunity for players to leave a lasting impression on the loading screens of Warhammer, as well as the battlefield!
Loading Screen Tips are an important part of any game's educational and entertainment value, and Warhammer is no different. With our loading tips, we've tried to tell a story for players about important tips on how the game works, as well as include some silly anecdotes about game development or Dwarfs.
We want you to have the opportunity as well, so in the forum thread here, we are going to be accepting your submissions to make a part of Warhammer Online history by immortalizing yourself in the loading screen tips. Here are the steps:
To read the steps and find out how to enter, please continue to the WAR Herald. Entries will be accepted until June 30!

Mythic brings us some Hot Fixes that were implemented during this morning's down time:
The following Hot Fixes were implemented during today's downtime:
General Changes and Bug Fixes
* Fixed an issue where item cooldown timers were not properly displaying in the player backpack.
* Purchasing additional Bank inventory slots will now correctly display as a Bank instead of Backpack.
Realm vs. Realm
Contested Altdorf and The Inevitable City
* Career Trainers have been added to the Spawn Locations for both Realms in Contested Altdorf and The Inevitable City.
* Sappers will now despawn immediately after planting their Sapper Barrel. The Sapper Barrel will now show an icon on both the regular and mini map, giving players a visual indication of an objective that is close to being captured.
* Using the spawn Barrier during an already underway Stage 3 of the City Siege will now teleport players directly to the King Fight.

"To celebrate the launch of 1.3.5 we will be enabling server wide Experience and Renown bonuses on all North American servers in lieu of a Warfront this weekend. So get out there and enjoy all of the exciting new features that 1.3.5 has to offer!
Highlights from 1.3.5 include:
City RvR Improvements
The city RvR experience has been greatly enhanced to create a much more satisfying RvR endgame. Everything in the new City Siege experience is 100% RvR driven! The City Siege has been divided into three stages:
Invaders!: The goal for the attackers is to destroy the Palace Door within the time allotted. This is accomplished by capturing a series of chained objectives around the city and destroying the Palace Door.
Warlords!: The goal for either side during this stage is to escort a friendly Warlord to the other sides entrance while at the same time preventing the enemy Warlord from reaching your own gates!
Kings!: The Final showdown between the Kings and their chosen champions! When the stage begins the Kings will call forth all of their combatants for a final rally to battle. During this preparation time, the King will explain the situation and call upon four players to serve as his champions in the battle to come."

Have you ever wanted to have a board for your guild or alliance, but never felt like doing all the "behind-the-scenes" work to make or even maintain it? Look no further! The Vault Network has opened their boards to individual guilds looking for a private place to post!
These boards are extremely private, and very limited regarding the ToS.
Please note that we are not trying to replace anyone's board, or force people to request and use a board here. This is for those guilds or groups who have nowhere to post amongst themselves.
DETAILS:
Member Limit:
Guilds or Groups who would like a board must have at least 10 active members.
Guilds or groups with less members who would like a private board can contact Beibhinn or Mithan to discuss their own circumstances.

We may allow the addition of a public board in the future.
Alliances
Guilds part of an alliance can request an alliance board.
If your guild already has a guild site/forum, but alliance doesn't, then the alliance leader can also request a board for alliance purposes.

Carrie Gouskos, Producer of Warhammer Online, posted a new Producer's Letter today via the WAR Herald:
Hello all,
Its been a very busy month, so busy the time has just flown by. These days, everyone around here is eating, breathing and sleeping 1.3.5. For that reason, in this particular newsletter, Im going to focus on version 1.3.5 and some of the recent community activity. I know that many like to skip ahead to read teasers of the distant future but , for this letter, I want to focus on the present, because I think the excitement right now is really around the short term future and 1.3.5.
