Book of Eli Protected

The Book of Eli is opening up on DVD and Blu-ray.

Warner Home Video is releasing the film, which nearly grossed a hundred million bucks at the box office, on June 15, 2010. The film works as the oddest pro-Christian message seen in quite some time, but we've gotta admit that using Denzel Washington dismembering the masses with a machete would certainly make anything look pretty friggin' cool. Denzel plays Eli, touring a post-apocalyptic landscape holding a rare book which has been destroyed after the war. It just so happens a group of self-regulated hierarchs, led by Gary Oldman, are looking for said book, and said pursuit causes many cool explosions.

The releases will contain bonus materials and extra features, and the DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $28.98. The Blu-ray clocks in at $35.99, as per usual with Warner releases.
