Usually it takes an MTV reality show to break up a celebrity couple, but just weeks after talking about his relationship on Saturday Night Live Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift have split. They are towing the usual line of wanting to remain friends, but according to reports it appears the Twilight star was a bit more smitten for the country music IT girl for her liking.
It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived. [US]
Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold , has passed away at the age of 28. The drummer and sometimes lead vocalist was one of the founding members of the band that took home the Best New Artist award at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. Police are saying that the death was from natural causes and foul play was not suspected. A statement regarding the passing was posted on the band’s website:
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Brittany Murphy’s final movie, Deadline, went to DVD earlier this month prior to the her death, but is now causing headlines because of the unfortunate cover art. First Look Studio, the independent studio behind the film, is now quickly removing the offending art from websites, rental stores, and Redbox kiosks. The new cover features Murphy in a screen of some wort which doesn’t make the movie any better, but does make the cover less eerie.
