About this Game
Go out to the old ballgame in MLB '99. Players can choose from modes like Quick Play, Playoffs, Season, and Home Run Derby. The Spring Training mode allows you to create and develop your own player, who must prove himself in a short minor league stint. If he's good enough, he'll be called up to the Bigs, but a lackluster performance will result in a trip back to the minors. Another cool feature is the Total Batting interface, which allows you to guess where you think the pitch is going. If you guess correctly, you'll probably end up with extra bases. On the other side of the coin is Total Control Fielding, which allows you to make home run-robbing catches and barehanded plays. And of course you can take on a friend in Versus mode for intense head-to-head action.
