Mark Millar has been talking exclusively to IGN about the movie prospects for his comic book creation American Jesus, with the author none-too-convinced that a film will hit anytime soon.
According to Millar, "everybody wanted to do" his story of the second coming, and following a round of talks, his Kick-Ass collaborator Matthew Vaughn was set to take the reigns.
But following several crazy suggestions from the big-wigs -- including one request to drop Jesus from the story altogether -- Millar believes that he might have to make the film outside the studio system, much like Kick-Ass.
