    BERJAYABalrog (Street Fighter)
Balrog is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series. If Balrog seems like an odd name for this guy (he doesn’t look much like a Tolkienian fire-demon, anyway), that’s because it’s not exactly his name. In the Japanese version of Street Fighter II, the guy who looked a lot like Mike Tyson was called something that sounded a lot like “Mike Tyson” – this is the original “M. Bison.”

    BERJAYABlanka
Blanka is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series.

Every character appearing in Street Fighter II is nominally human. Blanka, however, is the one who doesn’t quite look it. Underneath the whacky color scheme, though, there’s just another guy, albeit a guy with an origin story that’s odd even by Street Fighter standards.

    BERJAYAChun-Li
Chun-Li is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series

The first – and perhaps still the most famous – female competitor in 2D fighting games, Chun-Li is one of the Street Fighter franchise’s icons. She remains a fan favorite years after her debut – her absence from the original Street Fighter III caused considerable outcry.

    BERJAYADhalsim
Dhalsim is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series. In the context of the game’s story, Dhalsim is a master of yoga, whose extensive physical and meditative training has granted him the ability to extend his limbs. He can also float in the air and teleport, although he uses those skills (and his fire-breathing stunts) more sparingly.

    BERJAYAE. Honda
Edmond Honda is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series.

Though it’s usually shortened to “E. Honda” (first to save space in memory, and later for tradition’s sake), yes, his full name is Edmond Honda. It’s not exactly the handle you’d expect to see on a sumo wrestler, but then Honda breaks from the norm in more ways than just that one.

    BERJAYAEl Fuerte
El Fuerte is a character from the Street Fighter videogame series.
