Tricia Helfer was discovered at the age of 17 by a modeling scout. She was born on April 11, 1974, and raised on a farm in Alberta, Canada. After being discovered, she became a well-known Canadian supermodel, appearing on many major fashion magazine covers and even posed for Playboy in February, 2007. Per usual at Comic-Con, the panel for Battlestar Galactica was received extremely warmly by the large crowd assembled. This year the cast members in attendance were all female - Mary McDonnell ("President Laura Roslin"), Katee Sackhoff ("Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace"), and Tricia Helfer ("Number Six") - and to mark the occasion the panel began with a special video clip reel paying homage to all the ladies on Battlestar, that also included an hysterical montage of scenes where the women on the show said "Frak."
