September 6, 2007 - Electronic Arts has released Scrabble for mobile in North America and Europe, bringing the bestselling board game to the smallest screen. Scrabble recreates the classic board on your handset, includes a massive dictionary, and offer several play options such as pass-and-play multiplayer. EA Mobile has also fashioned a stat-tracker that charts your best words and biggest multipliers. Once you determine your how much of a wordsmith you really are, you can upload the scores to a national board and compare your performance to other players.

Hasbro vice president of digital media Jeff Burdeen said in a statement: "With its new mobile version, EA Mobile has put a fresh spin on the game that we're confident will be a hit with both SCRABBLE enthusiasts and casual gamers."
