Here's stuff!

BioStation

Any news on BioShock for PS3? It's been getting rave reviews on the PC and Xbox 360 but I've read too many conflicting internet rumors to know what to believe.

-- Ronaldo

As of right now, it's not happening. Should the game sell exceptionally well, Take-Two may decide that a PlayStation 3 port is a worthy investment, similar to what happened with Oblivion.

Monies

First off, I want to send a shot-out to the IGN editors(especially the PS crew) for what has been a hillarious and insightful set of podcasts. Keep up the good work!! Massive Pops to Greg for sticking it to Lair for great visuals and horrible gameplay. As a PS3 fanboy, I got your back in this one. The question for the PS fellas is in regards to speculation on the return of the single SKU. With reports from other sites saying that all the 60gb units have been sent out, some analysts are predictng that the current 499 price is going to stay. Furthermore, Game-Informer hinted in a recent issue that there was going to be a 40gb model that would be released. What are your thoughts on all this?

PS: Next time, I'll make the questions shorter. :)

-- David

Who knows. Sony's investment or insurance branch or some such is opening up its stock for public trading in order to raise money (on the order of almost $4 billion), and some investors think this is a way for Sony to absorb some extra cash to make up for an impending price drop. I'm not sure if this will happen or not, but it needs to get aggressive in some fashion or another to catch up with Microsoft and Nintendo in the sales department.

-- Chris

Strangled

Why is there no review for the PS3 version of Stranglehold yet? I don't care if they haven't sent you guys a copy of it yet. Break in and steal a copy if you have to!

-- Brett

The game isn't set to hit the PlayStation 3 until close to the end of this month, so we're holding out for that. Also, it doesn't help that we don't have reviewable code yet. And no, we're not going to steal it (Ryan tells me jail is terrible).

-- Chris

Beyowned

Hey guys love the podcast. I listen to it on my commute and it really helps the time go by.

Anyway, I was playing Warhawk the other day and knifed a few people while shouting "You just got BeyOWNED!!" After a few kills and annoying the crap out of the guys in the game, people started killing me saying it. After a while every kill was punctuated with a Beyowned. Just thought it was a little funny.

Take it easy.

This is the sort of email that we like to see. You, sir, are a scholar and a gentleman.

-- Chris

Shadow of the PlayStation 3

Is the team behind "Shadow of the Colossus" and "Ico" working on anything for the PS3?

-- Ryan

Yes, though we know nothing about it. What I do know is that I'd kill a man for whatever it is.

-- Chris

\m/,

Do you know anything about a double kick drum, otherwise, how the hell are we going to get any metal on Rock Band? I think it's fair to say a great vast of what made Guitar Hero successful, were the ex-Guitar Freaks metal heads. It would be nice to know, otherwise I guess we have Guitar Hero 3 to get more pumped about (I want to be more pumped about RB though).

-- JL

I'm wondering the same thing. It looks like Rock Band is going for the more mainstream approach to music with all of the tunes being a little lighter on the head-banging, while Guitar Hero III goes all out for the craziest stuff Neversoft can put in there. I like this approach on a couple levels since it means each game will serve its own distinct purpose (i.e. we'll still have a very good reason to pick up Guitar Hero III), but I do hope for some crazy metal in Rock Band so that I can get some double-bass on. Here's to hoping they can get Mastodon in there.

-- Chris

Heavenly Review

Nice Review of Heavenly Sword ass hat, learn to play retard, or better yet at least hide the fact your a complete nincompoop and give an accurate score. Your excuses are utter bull s*** and barley border on having any relevance to the overall score. Really wish your co workers bash you so much you re figure your review tool bag.

Hope you die in a fire of molten s***. Have a nice day.

This is one of my favorite emails in a long time. I even posted it on my wall. I hope that you never learn to read a review properly so that I can receive more of these in the future.

-- Chris
