November 05, 2004 - The Japanese PSP launch is a little less than a month away, and gamers in Japan and import fans are eager in waiting to see what Sony Computer Entertainment has in store for the portable world of videogaming. What will there be to look forward to in the launch on December 12? And what else is there to expect up through the rest of 2004 for the brand new handheld system?

Sony Computer Entertainment has locked down the official list of software to be available through 2004 for the PlayStation Portable in Japan. All told, 19 games are on the calendar for the system's release. We'll be updating this list when 2005 titles are finally slotted with retailers for a set release date, or if there are any more surprises for PSP this launch year.
