56% of enterprise Microsoft 365 licenses are inactive, underutilized, oversized, or unassigned. Your M365 spend is likely higher than it needs to be. And the Admin Center won't tell you where. It shows how many seats you bought and who has them. That's it. → It reports in seats, not dollars → It can't connect a license to the apps someone actually uses → Activity data stops at last sign-in, so idle users still look active Then the gaps compound. Disabled accounts keep their licenses long after people leave. Overlapping plans stack duplicate features on the same user. The data you need sits across separate admin centers. So finding real waste becomes a manual hunt most teams never get to. That's why we built Turbo360 Tenant Manager: ✔ See the waste. Every seat as active, idle, or unassigned, with its monthly cost ✔ Find the cause. The exact users, groups, and subscriptions behind it ✔ Act on it. Reclaim, downgrade, or right-size, including unused Copilot seats ✔ Stay safe. Read-only to start, every change approved, full audit trail If half your licenses are idle, your next renewal is too big. The Admin Center won't catch that. Tenant Manager will. https://lnkd.in/g3u5bazv

Running an internal support agent on Azure OpenAI? Your pricing model matters more than you think. Support agents have a predictable pattern. Traffic stays steady through the day, and most prompts reuse the same system instructions and knowledge context, so caching works well. That’s where provisioned throughput (PTU) usually beats pay-as-you-go. You pay for fixed capacity and use it fully. The same choice backfires on spiky or low-volume workloads. There, pay-as-you-go stays cheaper. Before you commit, look at your traffic shape and cache hit rate, not just your token count. Full guide https://lnkd.in/gd_CK57Q

Your Azure OpenAI bill could be increasing even when no one is using your AI models. Reserved PTUs bill whether you use them or not. Fine-tuned deployments charge hourly hosting while idle. Search, logging, and networking keep running in the background. Token usage is only part of the story. Controlling AI spend starts with knowing how each workload is billed, picking the right deployment model, and catching waste before it compounds. Our guide covers Azure OpenAI pricing, hidden costs, optimization techniques and FinOps best practices. https://lnkd.in/gd_CK57Q

Azure Cost Management Tool Review: Why I Recommend Turbo360 as Cloud Costs Keep Climbing Hardware is getting more expensive, and it isn’t slowing down. Memory makers are putting more of their capacity into AI data centers. Micron’s own leadership has said that meaningful new supply won’t start ramping until 2028. That squeeze hits everyone who buys servers, and cloud providers are among the biggest buyers of all. So treat your Azure bill like your electricity bill. Some months will be better than others, but the long-term direction is up. You can’t control what Microsoft pays for hardware. You can control how much of your Azure spend is waste. That’s where an Azure cost management tool earns its keep. Azure’s native tools show you what you spent. What most teams actually need is help deciding what to change, and then making the change. I’ve been using Turbo360 for this, and here’s what stands out. Visibility that matches how your business is organized Turbo360’s Cost Analyzer breaks spend down by subscription, resource group, service, tag, and application. On top of that, you get budgets, forecasting, anomaly detection, showback and chargeback, and reporting. Finance, engineering, and app owners can each see the slice of cost they’re responsible for. Optimization that runs on its own This is where it gets interesting. You can set schedules that stop or scale down resources outside working hours, so dev and test environments aren’t burning money overnight and on weekends. Workflows automate routine cleanup. The platform also flags opportunities for rightsizing, Reservations, Savings Plans, Azure Hybrid Benefit, and Spot instances. Savings you can prove Most tools tell you what you could save. Turbo360’s Impact Tracker measures what you actually saved after you acted. That matters when leadership asks whether the cost work paid off.The real strength: automation plus accountability Taken together, Turbo360 turns cost analysis into real reductions in Azure consumption, and then shows you the proof. Easy to get going Setup is straightforward and the documentation is thorough. The support team responds quickly and explains things clearly, which counts for more than people expect when you’re in the middle of a rollout. Signups can start here: "https://lnkd.in/eVRTCA-5" Bottom line Azure costs aren’t coming down on their own. If you want an Azure cost management tool that goes beyond reporting and actually reduces spend, Turbo360 is the one I’d recommend. https://lnkd.in/e3dCSnrb

Your Copilot renewal will charge you for every seat, used or not. At $30 per user a month, 125 idle seats add up to about $45K/year. The catch? Removing a license doesn’t lower your bill. You can only reduce the seat count within 7 days of purchase or renewal. Miss that window, and you pay for another year. Turbo360 Tenant Manager flags unused, duplicated, and stranded Copilot seats before your renewal date arrives. https://lnkd.in/g7ABYTRd

Your Microsoft 365 bill is paying for licenses nobody uses. Unassigned seats, disabled users still holding licenses, and idle Copilot seats quietly drain your budget. Just 40 spare E3 seats cost $18,720 a year. The catch? Unassigning a license doesn’t reduce your bill. You have to cut the seat count, often within a 7-day renewal window. Turbo360 Tenant Manager finds hidden license waste and prices it at what you actually pay, before renewal. Find the waste before your next renewal 👇 https://lnkd.in/gZ4uKe3m

“The finance people see me as a techie. The tech people see me as a finance person" That’s from Ally Anderson of Neustar in Cloud FinOps by J.R. Storment and Mike Fuller and if you work in FinOps, you’ve most likely lived this. Like DevOps before it, FinOps is a bridge job. But the bridge doesn’t connect two sides, it connects five: - Cloud engineers speak in instances, architecture, and performance. • Finance speaks in budgets, forecasts, and variance. • Operations speaks in uptime and capacity. • Procurement speaks in commitments, discounts, and vendor terms. • Executives speak in one question: “What is this costing us, and is it worth it?” One week you’re explaining a Savings Plan to an engineer & the next, you’re explaining why a “tiny” architecture change blew up the bill to finance. It’s no wonder this role is increasingly finding its home right at the center of operations. The goal isn’t to police cost but to get every team talking about it together. So, FinOps folks, which “language” took you longest to learn? #FinOps #CloudCost #CloudComputing

In Michael Stephenson’s session at Evidi Sweden Stockholm, one environment’s spend rose from $8K to $20K a month. But the cost per order fell from $0.08 to $0.029. Two more lessons: 1. A quick review found £750 a day in resources nobody could explain. That’s roughly £250K saved a year. 2. An AI agent redesign cut an estimated $17K monthly cost to about $2K. Same model, better architecture. How are you measuring AI workload costs today? Read full story here https://lnkd.in/gPjb5Bpr
