About us

In 2009, Stephanie Redcross West found herself wanting more freedom and work that aligned more with her passion. She loved her 15-year corporate career in marketing for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies, but wanted to put her energy and skills to work on her own dream of making veganism accessible to everyone. She took the leap into entrepreneurship and Vegan Mainstream was born. The company–headquartered in Kissimmee, Florida with an international team–has been helping vegan entrepreneurs and business owners ever since. Vegan Mainstream provides hands-on training, advice and education for new and established vegan business owners. We offer free webinars, podcasts, business coaching, marketing consulting and multiple self-paced online courses. We work with authors, manufacturers, artists, chefs, personal trainers, coaches and all kinds of vegan entrepreneurs to help them launch and maintain successful vegan businesses. Vegan Mainstream is a unique space for entrepreneurs to connect, share, learn from, and celebrate each other. Since founding the company in 2009, Stephanie has established herself as a leading voice in the vegan business world. Through her work with Vegan Mainstream and ongoing speaking engagements, Stephanie has expanded the idea of what a vegan business is and can be. While most people instinctively think of vegan restaurants or food brands when they think of a vegan business, Vegan Mainstream believes that if we want to see veganism expand its reach, we need to acknowledge that people are what make a business special. A vegan business is defined by the intention behind and the people running the business. This means that any business operating with vegan values can be vegan. We need vegan carpenters, fashion designers, accountants, filmmakers, music producers, website designers and more. Vegan Mainstream is here to help lead those businesses to success.

  • A Year of Growth, Connection, and Community In 2025, we launched new courses, hosted incredible conversations, and watched this community of vegan entrepreneurs grow stronger. But the real highlight? Watching all of you show up—day after day—building businesses that matter, supporting each other, and proving that values-driven entrepreneurship isn't just possible, it's powerful. So we want to say thank you. For being part of this community. For your resilience. For your commitment to building something meaningful. Here's to 2025, and to everything ahead in 2026. What's one win you're celebrating from last year?

2025 had its ups and downs, didn't it?  But as I look back, what stands out most are the people, the vegan entrepreneurs who kept showing up, kept building, kept pushing forward even when it was hard. For Vegan Mainstream, 2025 was a year of growth. We launched new courses. We had powerful conversations on the Pivot Podcast with entrepreneurs navigating real challenges. And this community? It's stronger than ever. But here's what I want you to do at the beginning of 2026: take a moment and acknowledge what you accomplished. The client you landed. The content you finally posted. The boundary you set. The thing you learned. It all counts. And you should be proud. Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to closing out 2025 with gratitude and stepping into 2026 with intention. What's one thing you're proud of from last year?

  • So many entrepreneurs struggle with the ask. This message from our founder, Stephanie Redcross West, hits home for so many purpose-driven entrepreneurs. Selling isn’t about being pushy; it’s about giving people the opportunity to invest in something that can help them grow.  🙌 If you’ve ever struggled to “make the ask,” this one’s for you.

You Might Be Sabotaging Your Growth Without Even Knowing It Here's something I see constantly with the entrepreneurs I work with: they're uncomfortable asking people to buy. So they either avoid it entirely and hope people will find their services on their website. They post valuable content and assume that's enough. They wait for clients to come to them. And then they wonder why their business feels unsustainable. Here's what I've learned: if you want to build something that lasts, you need to know people are actually showing up for you. And the clearest signal? When they invest. I'm not saying you need to be pushy or salesy. I'm saying you need to ask. Clearly. Confidently. Consistently. Your work is valuable. Your services solve real problems. Don't sabotage your own growth by being afraid to let people invest in what you're building. If this resonates, drop a 🙌 in the comments. And if you've been avoiding the ask, start today.

  • Sometimes living in alignment costs you everything you've built. And you do it anyway. 🎧Listen to M Sandip Kumar's story on the Pivot Podcast. https://lnkd.in/eh3egT3d

What do you do when your business no longer aligns with who you are? M Sandip Kumar faced this exact question. He'd grown up in his family's textile business and helped scale it to massive success. But then he started paying real attention to how silk was produced–by boiling silkworm cocoons. He's Jain. He was raised not to harm even the smallest ant. And yet his business depended on harm every single day. The disconnect became unbearable. So in 2018, he and his father made a choice: they closed all their silk contracts and started fresh. 100% cruelty-free. It wasn't the safe move. It wasn't the easy one. But it was the aligned one. Listen to Sandip's full story on the Pivot Podcast. What it took to rebuild, what he learned, and why alignment sometimes costs you everything. Have you ever had to make a hard choice to stay true to your values? https://lnkd.in/eeRvwMJ5

  • How You Start Your Day Matters Running a business, especially a mission-driven one, requires energy, focus, and intention. And all of that starts with how you begin your day. Here are a couple of tips from our founder, Stephanie:  💧 Hydrate before anything else  📝 Write down what matters today (not the whole to-do list, just today's focus)  🧘🏽♀️ Take a few breaths and set an intention No complicated routines. No 5 am wake-up calls. Just a few grounded minutes before the demands start. For vegan entrepreneurs juggling passion and profit, mornings like this can be the difference between feeling scattered and feeling ready. What does your morning routine look like?

How You Start Your Day Sets the Tone for Everything That Follows This is my morning setup. Water in hand. Planner open. A clear mind. I'm not into complicated routines or waking up at 4 am to "win the day." I'm into what actually works. And for me, that's simplicity. Here's what my mornings look like: 💧 I hydrate first. It sounds small, but it wakes my brain up in a way caffeine never could. 📝 I open my planner and write down what I’m doing today — not this week, not someday, just today. It keeps me focused and calm. 🥣 I eat food that fuels me. 🚶♀️ I move my body. Nothing extreme, just enough to feel grounded before everything else starts demanding my attention. Nothing extreme. Just rituals that ground me before everything else starts demanding my attention. Your morning doesn't have to look like mine. But it should look like something. A ritual that centers you before the noise begins. What's one thing you do every morning that helps you show up better?

  • If you want people to understand your impact, you have to share it. As vegan business owners, so much of what we do comes from mission and purpose. But if we stay quiet about our wins and progress, the world won't see what we're building. So celebrate. Talk about landing that client, surviving the tough week, or launching something you're proud of.

The Lesson Nobody Tells You About Building a Business Early in my career, I assumed hard work spoke for itself. That if I just kept my head down and delivered great results, people would notice. I was wrong. The truth is, people don't automatically see the effort behind your work. They don't know about the strategy sessions, the iterations, the moments of doubt you pushed through, or the breakthroughs that happened at midnight. They see the outcome—and only if you share it. As vegan entrepreneurs and business leaders, much of our work is mission-driven. We're building with purpose, creating impact, and challenging the status quo. But if we don't communicate our progress, our wins, and our lessons learned, that impact stays invisible. Sharing your work isn't vanity. It's visibility. It's how you build credibility, attract the right opportunities, and inspire others who are a few steps behind you on the same path. So whether it's a successful launch, a hard-won client relationship, a speaking opportunity, or simply navigating a challenging quarter—share it. Own it. Celebrate it. Three lessons I wish I'd internalized sooner: 1. Trust the process, even when results aren't immediate. Growth rarely happens on your timeline, but consistency compounds. 2. Boundaries aren't optional—they're strategic. Protecting your time and energy isn't selfish; it's what keeps you sustainable long-term. 3. Small wins deserve recognition. Progress isn't always dramatic. Celebrate the incremental steps—they add up to transformation. What's a lesson you've learned on your entrepreneurial journey? I'd be interested to hear what's shaped your approach to building your business.
