The Apple Vision Pro is getting foveated streaming, which is Valve’s fancy trick for the Steam Frame.

I was impressed with foveated streaming on the Steam Frame, which, when you’re interacting with games streamed to the headset, renders what’s right in front of your eyes at the highest fidelity. I hope it’s just as good on the Vision Pro.

Apple announced visionOS’s foveated streaming as part of the first developer beta for visionOS 26.4.

The acquisition seems to have occurred in October 2025, as AppleInsider reports. Apple’s motivation for purchasing Kuzu remains a mystery, but graph databases like Kuzu’s could be used in Apple’s FileMaker Pro, Freeform, or iWork apps, or used for social features in other apps like Apple Music or Apple Games.

Advocacy group sues Trump officials for urging tech companies to remove ICE reporting tools.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) is suing Attorney General Pam Bondi and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for their alleged roles urging Meta and Apple to remove a Facebook group and app documenting ICE agents. FIRE claims they unconstitutionally coerced companies to censor speech. In a statement, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin accused FIRE of spinning “this correct decision for Apple to remove these apps as them caving to pressure instead of helping prevent further harm to federal officers.”

Update: Added DHS statement.

A shadow is descending on Apple Arcade.

But, like, in a good way. The subscription service just announced its March lineup, and the highlight is Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea, the latest in the very Legend of Zelda-inspired series. Interestingly, it’ll be playable on basically every Apple platform: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and even Apple Vision Pro.
