26.04 LTS is about a week away, and we need donations.
As stated before, our web hosting is changing providers, which is now an extra monthly expense. The migration is complete, but we’re just waiting for the nameservers to be changed.
Additionally, several old bugs have been fixed this cycle, and we even rewrote both Ubuntu Studio Installer and Audio Config apps from the ground up! None of this comes without a cost.
For Kubuntu users, many of these bugs being squashed affect Kubuntu directly since they have to do with the Plasma desktop as well as fixes when upgrading from prior releases that affect Ubuntu Studio as well. A lot of time and effort has gone into this, and, unfortunately, it’s not without expense.
So, please, we need donations. Visit https://ubuntustudio.org/contribute

I’m very, very sorry. I still don’t have enough money to donate Ubuntu Studio. I can only donate one dollar a week through liberapay.
But as a loyal fan of Ubuntu Studio, I am still trying to find out how to help Ubuntu Studio in other ways. Although I have made suggestions here twice and contributed my own mascot characters, they have not been adopted.
My next plan is to write a comprehensive tutorial for Ubuntu Studio 26.04 (covering all the built-in software of Ubuntu Studio as much as possible), but I won’t be able to start creating until mid-May this year, and only a simplified Chinese version can be created (in fact, this reply is translated into English in simplified Chinese).
It has been nearly a year since the last time I posted here, and I have been working hard to practice various creative techniques. In short, I’m sorry again that I don’t have enough financial resources to support Ubuntu Studio now.
