Spielberg returns to one of his favorite subjects with a fun and goofy popcorn movie that shows how far he’s come in the last 50 years.

The filmmaker has seen the internet posts, but he made a solemn promise to IndieWire: “Me, the cast, the crew, we sincerely care about this movie. We put so much of ourselves into it. So my best answer to this is, give it a shot. You’re going to have a good time.”
