A real estate agent and his accomplice were absconding after they allegedly attacked a person and set fire to a car at Madhavaram Milk Colony on Friday when talks over a piece of land failed. Three men, including one Baskar of Kosapet and his friend Suresh jointly owned some land at Manjambakkam.
While Baskar and other partner sold their portions to a real estate agent, Suresh did not part with his property. The agent called Baskar and Suresh for negotiations. When the talks broke down, the agent and his friend set their vehicle ablaze.
