In a new series of programmes under the name of 'Highlights of the Euro Hit 40' (presented as part of RNW's Flatlanders series), we'll be taking a look - and, of course, listening to - some of the European music that features in this unique pop music chart, based on the national hitlists of a total of 18 European countries.
The countries surveyed to compile the Euro Hit 40 chart are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
