September 7th 1944 was the day that 436 (Transport) Squadron was authorized to be formed. Sixty years later we gathered to celebrate the legacy that was started by those who proudly flew their DC-3's from the Punjab under the banner of "Canucks Unlimited".  We celebrated our anniversary over the weekend of September 24th to 26th with a host of special events. The events were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, and presented the opportunity to meet each other, sometimes for the first time, but more often, as old friends. |
