James Napier, better known by the name Jimmy Napes, is a British songwriter, record producer and musician. He has written for artists including Sam Smith, Clean Bandit and Mary J. Blige.[1] In 2015 he earned a Grammy Award for Song of the Year for his work on Smith's "Stay With Me", co-written with Smith and William Phillips.
