I want to experiment with some software like WikiShield to see what fits best for my CVU work. jan Manisijun (Magnesium) (talk) (contribs) 02:35, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- I am impressed by your consistency in warning editors and good temperament, but this edit, which restores a large amount of unsourced information to a BLP, is confusing. -- Reconrabbit (talk) 16:16, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- It confused the editor that got their edit reverted too! I was unfortunately not so nicely informed of my mistake, but was able to learn the guideline/policy on BLPs and unsourced material. I hope that this mistake does not muddy my ability to receive rollback perms; however, I understand if it does! :) | jan Manisijun (Magnesium) (talk) (contribs) 05:05, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- If you have learned from this, that's good. It looks like you have done good work so far in reverting, warning and reporting. I will mark this as

I would like to request rollback rights. In recent weeks I’ve been patrolling Recent Changes and manually reverting clear cases of WP:Vandalism, unsourced additions against WP:BURDEN, removal of sourced material, and occasional WP:BLP‑related issues. These have been straightforward, policy‑based reversions done with WP:Undo. AriuCH (talk) 14:42, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

- @AriuCH: You have been doing some good anti-vandalism work in my view (based on spot checking reversions) but, as was mentioned in the denial of your Pending Changes Reviewer request, you really should be warning editors that you revert edits of in this context. This can be done fairly easily using Twinkle's rollback feature or "Warn" functionality when (with Twinkle enabled) looking at a user's contributions page or talk page. If you can commit to this and show maybe a few examples of doing this, I would be willing to grant on a trial basis. Please ping me. TheSandDoctor Talk 18:04, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- @TheSandDoctor, Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been regularly warning IP editors after reverts, following the advice I received earlier, and I’ll keep doing that. I want to make sure my anti‑vandalism work stays in line with best practices, and I’ll continue improving based on your suggestions. AriuCH (talk) 18:17, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- @AriuCH: You've only made 38 (total) edits to user talk pages since account creation (granted most are after the last decline so that is an improvement), which is far less than the number of edits you've reverted in just the past 4 days alone. I can find multiple instances just today where you reverted for-cause but did not leave any warnings. I think the problem here is consistency with leaving warnings. That said, I do recognize that not every revert ever made justifies a warning. What is your normal workflow here? I would recommend Twinkle to help make warnings easier. TheSandDoctor Talk 18:35, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- @TheSandDoctor, Thanks for the follow‑up. I understand the concern, and I’ll make sure to be more consistent with warnings going forward. I’ll also start using Twinkle to keep things smoother. AriuCH (talk) 18:55, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- @AriuCH: You're welcome and thank you. If you can give me a solid week or two of a track record on consistency (that doesn't mean you need to edit every day, just in terms of most vandalism reverts having accompanying warnings issued) I will happily revisit this. You can reach out to me directly on my talk page if you wish and I will reassess. Does that sound reasonable? TheSandDoctor Talk 19:11, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- @TheSandDoctor That works for me. I’ve already started applying your feedback and I’ll keep things consistent. I’ll reach out to you myself once there’s enough of a pattern to review. AriuCH (talk) 19:25, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

I've been working the recent changes patrol with a focus on anti-vandalism and I'd like access to rollback to enhance this work. I currently use Ultraviolet and sometimes Twinkle as part of my tools. I try to warn consistently and communicate if there are any questions. Thanks y'all! netstars22 (talk) 15:02, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello, I would like to request rollback rights. I have reverted vandalism many times using undo/manual reverts and regularly monitor recent changes. I understand rollback is only for obvious vandalism and disruptive edits, and I will use it carefully and responsibly. Thank you for considering my request. Not done Same issue as last time – you have one total report to AIV in your entire edit history. We don't grant rollback to editors who do not actively revert and report vandalism. Spend 30 days consistently reverting and reporting vandalism, then we'll reassess. Katietalk 17:51, 20 May 2026 (UTC)

I'm a frequent Twinkle user. I leave explanations for my reverts and often also reach out to the users via Twinkle templates or a more personalized message. I mostly patrol BLPs on my watchlist, but sometimes head over to Recent Changes too. Wracking talk! 19:06, 17 May 2026 (UTC)

I requested before, however it was denied. I have now intercepted vandalism while doing Recent Changes Patrol. Also, I have used Twinkle's rollback feature, but I am seeking rollback as a backup. I am also planning on using AntiVandal. Thanks! Robloxguest3 (talk)

Most of my time is spent doing small copyedits and reverting vandalism. I would like rollback rights to use Interceptor and Redwarn.Ok, knowing myself, I'm more likely to just download every anti-vandal tool I can find, try them all, and choose three I like best.AZenit3 (talk) 22:54, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
I also occasionally use Twinkle's rollback feature, and I do Recent Changes Patrol fairly often. AZenit3 (talk) 22:56, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only 165 edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. Hey, I would like to apply for rollback rights. I have been actively patrolling recent changes, fighting against all kinds of vandalism, disruptive editing (including POV pushing and self-promotion), unsourced additions, removal of sourced content, BLP related issues etc. Not only that, I always warn vandals on their talk page and communicate regarding the edits if questioned (though my reverts are very rarely questioned). All my reverts are well reasoned and with appropriate edit summary. Also, I have consistently reported vandals to WP:AIV and username violators to WP:UAA. Moreover, it is pertinent to mention here that I have NO history of edit warring or POV pushing infact in contrast to that, I have been awarded 2 barnstars for fixing mistakes and fighting vandalism. I use Twinkle right now. All of these are open to be verified from my contributions history. Hence, I am requesting this right as it will make it much easier for me to fight vandalism and this rollback right will also pave my way to other counter vandalism tools which will make my edits even more efficient. Thank you for your kind consideration! TheProEditor11 (talk) 14:11, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

I guess I just want to engage more in Wikipedia. I just got 400 edits last night and I think this is a great oppurtunity to get a step forward.
