Mina is a Hero in Deadlock; a glass cannon that delivers quick bursts of Spirit damage at range with her passive, Love Bites. She can transform into bats and escape when things get a bit too messy. Each time she triggers Love Bites, her vampiric powers grow stronger. This builds toward her ultimate, Nox Nostra, which unleashes a massive swarm of bats that hunt down and silence nearby enemies.
Mina Ha was an ambitious and rich girl betrothed to American royalty, the eldest heir to the Fairfax Industries fortune. However, her hopes were dashed when her fiancé was assassinated prior to the wedding. Her parents, seeking only the best for their daughter, contracted a vampire to turn Mina into a vampire and grant her eternal life. Now learning her new powers and navigating vampire high society, Mina's ambitious eye is set on becoming the next Viscount of New York.
Active: Slash with your umbrella, dealing spirit damage, increasing with their missing health. Receive a heal for every target killed.
Passive: Holding Zoom / alt-fire causes you to briefly float. Rake executes non-heroes below 60 health.

When using the Confirm Cast mode, only the first cast will use the range preview. Subsequent recasts will immediately activate after pressing the Ability key again.
When using the Confirm Cast mode and Alternate Cast mode as a Button, Sanguine Retreat has an undocumented alternate cast prompt. It has no effect on the ability or its visual effects.
There is no delay between Sanguine Retreats second and third recast. This is likely a bug.

If an enemy uses Phantom Strike on Mina while she's channeling Nox Nostra, Mina keeps flying for the rest of the channel duration, then drops down under the effect of Phantom Strike.
In Street Brawl, every hero draws items from a shared pool, but some items are weighted to appear more often for a given hero and others less often. For each tier below, that tier's items are grouped by how likely they are to be offered to Mina: High, Average, or Low chance.
Mina Ha had it all...rich parents, elite education, and an arranged marriage that would see her ascend from run-of-the-mill upper class to American royalty. She was happy.
Then her betrothed was assassinated.
Mina wept; not for the life of her fiancé, but for the future that was stolen from her. Why couldn’t the killer just wait until after the wedding? Then she’d have the last name she always dreamed of and no one would even have to pretend to love anyone. It could have been perfect, but life wasn’t fair...and so Mina did what she always does when things don’t go her way: she told her parents to fix it.
Mr. And Mrs. Ha knew that the only way to appease their daughter was to offer her something greater than what she lost... and marrying into one of the world’s most lauded families was a tall order to top. They had to think big. They had to think outside of the box. They had to promise their daughter immortality.
It took a small fortune, but eventually they found a vampire who was willing to turn her. Unsurprisingly, Mina thought the idea of eternal youth and a trust fund was an acceptable plan B and happily agreed to the proposal. Now a fledgling vampire, Mina is quickly discovering that the clout she held as a human has no weight in vampire high society...and while at first that annoyed her, if there is one thing Mina has a knack for, it's learning the rules so she can subvert them. She will be the Viscount of New York, the other vampires just don't know it yet.
Mina is named after the literary character Mina Harker, from Bram Stoker's Dracula. Ironically, in the novel, Mina was stalked by Dracula and never becomes a vampire herself.
Mina's ultimate Nox Nostra means "Our Night" in Latin.
Mina is the second hero to use "vampire" as a codename (VampireBat), as there is another hero referenced in the localization files as "hero_vampire", but it has been removed from the game.
Mina's family is implied to be East Asian, due to the "Ha" last name. Her name is also written in Asian localizations as a traditional Asian name, unlike other heroes.
Mina was one of the heroes in a private build who was accidently leaked on stream in May 2025.[2] Mina's model was leaked by an anonymous source along with a WIP version of the shop UI, ahead of the Shop Rework update.
Mina's pistol New Money has the words "Nuit Rouge 7" ("Red Night 7" in French) inscribed on the side, similar to perfume labels. This does not appear in the weapon art.
"Grabbing a bite in the Hideout" is displayed as one's status in the in-game Friends List when playing as Mina in the Hideout.
Mina holds her pistol in her left hand, like Lady Geist. While this is done for gameplay purposes so her umbrella doesn't cover her model, it could also reflect her admiration for Geist.
