Norwegian landscape and travel photographer

I am a photographer from Norway with a strong interest in landscape, travel, night and Northern Lights photography. I actively contribute high-resolution images to Wikimedia Commons for use in Wikipedia, Wikivoyage and related open knowledge projects. Several of my photographs are used across different language versions of Wikimedia projects. My aim is to support open knowledge with clear, reliable and well-documented visual material that can be reused with confidence.

Husevågøy

One of my long-term photography projects documents Husevågøy on the outer coast of Nordfjord in Western Norway, including coastal landscapes, Husevåg village, harbour life, local nature, wildlife and weather-shaped scenery.

Travel photography

I also upload travel photographs from a range of destinations, with a focus on places, views, architecture and everyday scenes that may be useful for Wikimedia projects.

Night and Northern Lights

Nightscapes and aurora borealis are recurring subjects in my photography, especially from Norway and other northern locations.

Lofoten, Norway – fishing villages and coastal landscapes

Lofoten is one of my recurring photography subjects, with fishing villages, mountain landscapes, coastal scenery and rapidly changing Arctic light. These images are intended to document both well-known viewpoints and wider visual impressions of the region.

Night and Northern Lights

Night photography and aurora borealis are among my favourite subjects, particularly in Northern Norway, where winter darkness, open landscapes and Arctic skies provide good conditions for photographing the Northern Lights.
