WeMakeDevs has crossed 70,000 members on Discord🚀 This is where developers ask real questions, get real answers, and stick around long after an event ends. Students learn by building alongside people already working in the industry, and companies get to see genuine engagement from developers who show up because they want to, not because they have to. That same spirit of showing up to build is what the Bharat Builds Tour is built on, our six-city hackathon series with AWS Builder Center, opening in Bangalore on September 17: https://lnkd.in/g5MQX6Xh

🚨 Two days LEFT in Rote Playoffs hackathon! If you're still deciding what to spend the weekend on, judging comes down to three things 👇🏻 - Does your Play run? - Can someone who didn't build it understand it? - Would people actually use it again? Check your Play against above three before submitting. That's usually a better use of time than adding one more feature. Publishing is the submission, no separate form. And if you're posting about what you're building this weekend, tag Modiqo as best social posts win an Apple Watch.

Most students never get past a resume filter. Bharat Builds is how we're changing that. Exposure to tech isn't the same as experience with it, and real confidence comes from building something end to end. That's the whole reason this series exists. We're running the hackathon series with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Builder Center, so everyone who joins gets the resources and learning tools to actually build and level up. Prizes worth ₹1 crore, and the top projects skip the Amazon screening round and go straight to interviews. Register at wemakedevs.org/aws

Happy Janmashtami! 🪈 As we celebrate Lord Krishna's birth, here's to carrying a bit of his spirit into how we build, stay curious, adapt fast, and keep moving with purpose. On another note, we're hosting a big one with AWS this year, prizes worth ₹1 crore up for grabs. Registrations are open here: https://lnkd.in/gWw5CK_u

🚨 Publishing your Play is the submission for Rote Playoffs hackathon, there's no separate form or deck. When your run works on its own, Play gives you three choices: Team, Community, or Skip. Pick Community and it goes live, gets verified, and that's your entry. If you're still testing, run it on an input you haven't tried yet. That's usually where the real gaps show up, not in the first run, but with multiple different inputs. Before you publish, check Modiqo trending page. It shows which Plays are getting picked up, the ones with clear naming, output you understand without an explainer, and one job done well instead of five done half-way. Chat with your AI agent is not a workflow! You may use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any agent tool for your everyday development task but if someone else cannot run the same with their input, without guessing your steps, then it is still just your chat. That is what Rote Playoffs is about: taking one repeated task and turning it into a reusable Play. 👉🏻 Register: https://luma.com/rotehack 💡 Ideas: https://lnkd.in/gs8M8S6Q 📋 Guide: https://lnkd.in/gnvAxRi2

Day 3 of Rote Playoffs, and today's question is simple: will your Play still work once the input changes? A weak Play only proves it can handle the one perfect run you tested it on but a strong Play holds up because it defines real inputs and structure before you ever hit run again, which is the gap between "summarize this PR" and "given a repo and date range, summarize open PRs, flag risky changes, identify missing tests, and prepare a release-review note." We went live on 1st September for kickoff and walked through how judging works and catch kickoff livestream here: https://lnkd.in/ezw4i9Qp Still setting up?
